The Ordinance Code for the Borough of New Alexandria is derived from the Pennsylvania Borough Code and serves as the current municipal code. The Code is reviewed every five years.  It is considered for update every year.

Ordinances become effective on the date of passage, unless otherwise noted or advised.

We are continuously in the process of updating and digitizing the ordinances.  We make sure that we accurately scan copies of the ordinances.  We want them more accessible to the public.  Hard copies are available at the Borough Office.
